The Design of Restaurant Avignon
The hypothetical scenario considered, proposes the arrangement of a luxury restaurant to be arranged in a historic building in the city of Avignon.
The retailer will be co-funded by two new stars of French gastronomy, fresh recipients of the third Michelin star and Christian Lacroix fashion house.
The concept of interior design / interior design / will combine three themes:
1. Spirit of the region / Provence / and of the city of Avignon
2. Elements of Christian Lacroix's aesthetics
3. References to theater art
It is intended to create an elegant, refined and personalized interior with contemporary notes.

Project description

The design concept starts from the representative image of Cristian Lcroix, namely the butterfly. Around it, all the arrangements are outlined. The arrangement is inspired by the image of the lavender fields growing on the reddish ground, this image being representative of the spirit of the city of Avignon. The interior amplifies the sensations by treating the walls and the ceiling in shades of purple. Thus, accessing the inside of the clinic can lead to a more special sensation, namely the feeling of immersion in the lavender. A dramatic image is created by metamorphosis of the butterfly in flight. It is no longer the usual butterfly but is amplifying its size. The butterfly becomes the main decoration object, which can be seen from all areas of the restaurant by its central location. It has the function of an illuminator, and by positioning it also has the role of impressing the customers of the restaurant and introducing them into the atmosphere specific to Avignion. Lacroix patterns have been used, such as butterflies and crickets, birds, parrots and flowers are found throughout the setting uniformizing a world of storytelling.
