1.IDEA.
GreenHarmony at Łobzów Palace is an environmentally friendly building that would will become part of nature, giving priority to flora and fauna. The project began with a simple form, that, by protecting the existing stand of trees, gained distinctive cutouts - at the same time its own identity. In addition, a green free access roof was designed to increase the biologically active area and the enhance the social space. The result was a non-intrusive, subtle and transparent building.
2.FUNCTION.
The building is multifunctional. In idea seen as a multipurpose spaces - also on level -1. students are free to relax, establish relationships, study, create, or whatever else they desire. they also have access to food service and cafe.
3.GREENERY.
Nature-inspired paths were also designed, WHICH meander between wild greenery and trees. Walking areas are also located on the green roof, from where you can observe nature from a different point. Greenery calms and arouses the imagination, which was one of the factors in designing so much of it.
4.ECOLOGY.
The sun as the main source of lighting for rooms and as energy collected by photovoltaic panels on the roof. Water collected into a rainwater tank, reused for watering plants. Biodiversity - the designed wild greenery is rich in various types of plants. the huge amount of vegetation promotes the gathering of various types of small animals. Complementing the small architecture are hotels for insects, nesting boxes or bird-drinkers. The green roof - the building gives back part of the area it took up. The percentage of biologically active area is very high - 73%. The building would have a heat pump and RECUPERATION installed. The rooms have access to natural light, as well as the installation of artificial, energy-saving led lighting will be made.
5. APPLICATION PROGRAM.
The entrance to the building on the ground floor is from the south. It is roofed. After entering the building, there is a cloakroom on the right. Further on, there is a café with places to relax, next to it is a lift and stairs leading to level -1. Behind the stairs are toilets. Then a warehouse, and behind it a multifunctional hall for about 250 people.
On level -1 there is an underground garage, as well as a universal area for students, and two storage rooms. On this level we have lockers for outerwear and toilets.
6. TECHNICAL PARAMETERS.
-Dimensions of the main body 57x18x5.4m
-Total height of the building = 9.4 m
- Floor height = 3 m level -1, 4.4 m level O
- Roof slope = 2%
7. STRUCTURAL ARRANGMENT.
-Foundations: the building rests on a 60 cm thick reinforced concrete foundation slab.
- Structural walls: the external walls are a glass facade; the internal structural walls are 30 cm thick, with a wooden finish, the partition walls are 15 cm thick and also finished with wood, only on level-1 in the technical rooms are they covered with plaster.
-Reinforced concrete stairs finished with a concrete floor.
-20 cm thick reinforced concrete ceilings.
-Beams and beams are located on level-1 in the underground garage.
- Roof: a green flat roof was used.
8. MATERIAL SOLUTIONS.
-The floors are concrete, on the outside they are slabs, and on the inside it is poured concrete.
