Idea projektu

This villa is designed for a seven-member family. Including: A two person family consisting of the grandfather and grandmother. A four-person family consisting of the father, mother, and two children (one daughter and one son). A single-person family, which is an unmarried uncle. Each family member had their own specific needs and interests, all of which were taken into account in the design. The site of this villa is located in Lavasan, Tehran, Iran.

Popis projektu

We created this design by combining arches, which are a traditional Iranian element, with rectangular cubes and a modern volume.
This villa consists of three floors: the basement, ground floor, and first floor. The ground floor houses the living room, kitchen, guest room, and uncle's suite. The first floor contains the bedrooms for the rest of the family and a library. The basement includes workshops, a gym, a swimming pool, and other service areas such as storage, laundry, and a utility room. To bring natural light into the basement, especially in the workshop, pool, and gym areas, the ground floor was raised 90 centimeters above ground level, allowing us to install strip windows for the basement. In Iran, since the north and south sides receive the best sunlight, we made every effort to place most of the openings on these two sides. As this villa is situated in the middle of a garden, we dedicated ample space to terraces to take advantage of the excellent air and beautiful outdoor views. And in the garden, we also included spaces for family gatherings.
