Idea projektu

The newly designed 4-star city hotel is located on the outskirts of the city of Nis. The main goals during the design were: a comfortable space intended for guests, various contents and environmental responsibility. A key feature of the hotel is its integration of greenery, both within the interior spaces and on the façade, enhancing the overall energy efficiency of the building. The full-empty ratio of the façade, complemented with vegetation, not only improves its aesthetic and design characteristics but also contributes to the mental and physical well-being of users. The emphasis on natural light, open spaces, and a harmonious relationship with nature creates an inviting atmosphere that encourages relaxation and social interaction.
Furthermore, the project prioritizes biodiversity conservation by incorporating green terraces, vertical gardens, and carefully selected plant species that support the local ecosystem. These elements contribute to the improvement of the building's energy performance, optimizing thermal regulation and reducing the overall environmental impact.
Overall, hotel "City Garden" presents a new, impressive and recognized structure, which will cause the reactions and views of passers and become the new urban representative of the city of Nis.

The hotel is designed to provide an optimal balance of functionality, comfort, and sustainability, offering a variety of spaces tailored to different guest needs.
The ground floor features an open-concept design, fostering a welcoming and dynamic environment. It includes numerous gathering areas enriched with greenery and abundant natural light, emphasizing the importance of first impressions. Spacious double-height windows and gallery spaces create an airy and inviting ambiance. The ground floor accommodates a restaurant, café-patisserie, administrative block, reception hall, and various communal spaces, all designed to enhance guest experience.
The mezzanine level is dedicated to recreation and social activities, offering a diverse range of amenities. Guests can enjoy spa and wellness facilities, a fitness center, social lounges, game rooms, and a children’s play area, ensuring spaces are inclusive and suitable for all age groups.
From the third to the fifth floor, the hotel houses guest rooms and suites, designed around the concept of green oases. The rooms include single rooms (convertible into double rooms), double rooms, and apartments, all featuring integrated greenery to enhance the sense of relaxation and well-being. The inclusion of natural materials, strategic lighting, and sustainable elements ensures that every guest experiences a harmonious connection with nature during their stay.

Technické informace

The structural system of the hotel is based on a reinforced concrete skeletal structure, ensuring both stability and flexibility in architectural design. The façade system incorporates a ventilated façade with integrated greenery, which enhances thermal insulation, improves air quality, and provides acoustic benefits. These elements contribute to the overall energy efficiency of the building. The hotel also integrates green infrastructure, including rooftop gardens, green terraces, and vertical greenery, which not only improve thermal comfort but also support biodiversity conservation within the urban environment. The HVAC system is designed for maximum energy efficiency, utilizing heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems with energy recovery technology to minimize energy waste. City Garden sets a new benchmark for hospitality projects in the region, demonstrating how modern urban hotels can successfully integrate ecological and energy-efficient principles.
