Technické informace

In the context of the hot and dry climate of Janruwa, the design concept for the museum and community center focuses on climate-responsive architecture. This involves utilizing design strategies that respond to local weather conditions, promoting comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
• Location and Site Integration: The design is be deeply integrated with the local landscape, taking into account the site's orientation, prevailing winds, and sun path. This integration aims to maximize natural ventilation and minimize solar heat gain.
• Architecture and Design: The architectural design will reflect both the cultural context and the environmental challenges of Janruwa. Local building materials and traditional design elements will be incorporated to resonate with the cultural identity of the region. The design will be modern yet sensitive to the local aesthetic, creating a space that is both functional and symbolic.
• Passive Climate Response Strategies: Key to the design will be passive climate control strategies. These may include orientation for optimal solar gain, the use of thermal mass for heat regulation, overhangs and shading devices to reduce solar heat gain, and natural ventilation to enhance cooling. Landscaping with native plants can also provide natural shade and contribute to the microclimate control. These strategies aim to create a comfortable indoor environment while reducing the need for mechanical heating and cooling, thereby enhancing the sustainability of the project.
