Idea projektu

The main concept of the project is to create a new environment for children where they can spend the majority of their day. The school is designed not only to facilitate learning but also to provide spaces where students can enjoy their time, interact with peers, and engage in various activities outside of lessons. It aims to be a dynamic and flexible space, fostering creativity, collaboration, and personal development. The design encourages both academic focus and leisure, ensuring that the school is a place where students feel comfortable, inspired, and motivated throughout their entire school day.

The planned school for 825 students is located in Moscow on Selskokhozyaistvennaya Street, adjacent to the Green Park residential complex, which is currently under construction. The total site area is 2.17 hectares, while the three-story school building occupies 5,452.3 m².

The school's architectural design consists of four interconnected buildings, unified by a central public space. This core area includes the main entrance lobby, changing rooms, a winter garden with live plants, a library-media center, and a cafeteria. The composition of the central space features circular forms of varying diameters, contrasting with the rectangular layout of the surrounding wings. These multi-level circular spaces are crowned with inclined glass skylights, filling the interior with natural light. The multifunctional central space also serves as a venue for school meetings, conferences, and events. This zoning concept fosters interaction between students and teachers, creating an engaging and cooperative learning environment.

Flanking the central atrium are the primary and middle/senior school buildings. The third structure houses an auditorium, while the fourth contains a gymnasium and workshops. Classrooms are designed with modern engineering solutions, including built-in niches for ventilation systems. Environmentally friendly materials are used throughout, and flexible desk arrangements allow for easy adaptation to various teaching formats. To enhance the learning experience, classrooms are equipped with multimedia panels, projectors, and interactive whiteboards.

The school boasts an extensive outdoor sports complex, accommodating football, basketball, and track and field activities. Additionally, there are dedicated play areas for active recreation and quieter zones for relaxation, all surfaced with safe and durable materials. Indoors, a modern gymnasium is equipped with professional training facilities suitable for both practice and competitions.

Technické informace

A defining feature of the school is its openwork metal facade with an intricate silhouette, enhancing the aesthetics of the panoramic glazing. This design not only provides a striking visual identity but also improves the indoor environment by regulating light and heat.

Structurally, the building is supported by a monolithic reinforced concrete framework, consisting of rigidly connected floor slabs and vertical load-bearing elements such as columns, piers, diaphragms, and stiffening cores. The flat roof features an organized internal drainage system, while the foundation is a solid reinforced concrete base slab.

Each section of the building is equipped with two emergency evacuation routes, some of which provide access to the roof. All evacuation exits comply with safety regulations.

To enhance energy efficiency, the building incorporates thermal insulation panels and innovative glazing systems, ensuring a comfortable indoor climate year-round. This project seamlessly integrates cutting-edge architectural solutions, functional design, and a commitment to student well-being. The school is envisioned not only as a center for education but also as a space where children can explore their talents, find inspiration, and build meaningful connections. Its modern infrastructure will contribute to the development of the surrounding area and foster a vibrant community among residents.
