Idea projektu

The main intention was to use the original large historical building. The layout itself is based on the very specific shape and curvature of the building. It was important to relate to the historical significance of the building and breathe new life into it. The site is accessible from two sides thanks to the roads, one of which, the main road, passes through the building and thus allows the passage of the inhabitants of the houses adjacent to the mill, and the other, for pedestrians, leads from the footbridge over the river, which plays an important role.

Popis projektu

The main idea was to preserve as much of the historically valuable building as possible. So that the place would not lose its genius loci, but at the same time it would be modernised and made accessible to the general public. By preserving the original building and its gems such as arcades, vaults and other interesting elements, we can give the building a new lease of life through reconstruction and other modifications, just as we can offer a new lease of life to the elderly who should find a new refuge here. A dignified and peaceful place to live. The multifunctional use of the whole building and the possibility of offering services to the inhabitants of Tasovice were also important. Therefore, the first floor, which is accessible through the atrium, is strategically reserved for services that can be used by the general public, such as a general practitioner and dentist, pharmacy, wellness, massage, pedicure, hairdresser or café located in the most valuable area of the arcades, which are part of the communication cross. The arches and the view of the river also make the space particularly special. One storey above, i.e. 2 NP. we reach the level of the driveway and the ground. Using two glass bridges we reach the entrance hall connected to the reception. The latter is of somewhat larger dimensions, indicating the presentability of the place and the possibility of meeting. A spacious client dining room is accessible from the reception area with the possibility of further renting for parties etc. thanks to a fully equipped kitchen and other necessary spaces such as storage rooms, staff day room, cloakroom and more. The main circulation area also takes us to the library, again usable by the public. Then comes the quieter part of the building where there are dedicated spaces for administration. Between the administration and the library is a quiet and dignified place ideal for the creation of a chapel. When we move to the other side of the building, imaginatively separated by a passage, we get to the technical background of the building. Here a large laundry room is being built. Storage of laundry, furniture and equipment necessary for the maintenance of the site. The maintenance and technical room has its place here. The third and fourth floors are reserved for the clients, who have the peace they need in their single or double rooms with balconies, separate bathrooms and kitchenettes. There is also a day room for small gatherings of clients. There is the possibility of family members staying overnight in the guest room. About halfway along the length of the building there is a lounge with a stage and also a workshop for small handicraft activities. An isolation room and a nurses' room for the nurses caring for the clients must not be missing in this type of facility. In the next part of the wing, the individual rooms are again located on the right-hand side. However, there is also the possibility of accommodation in VIP rooms, which are suites with a hallway and bathroom. A kitchenette, which transitions into a living room and a separate bedroom, ideal for a married couple, for example. The next floor, which is repeated except for minor differences in layout.

Technické informace

The entire building is strung as a brick structure. The building is based on reinforced concrete strip foundations. The foundation slab is followed by the load-bearing perimeter and interior walls, also of brick. The horizontal structures in the form of ceilings will be monolithic. Vertical structures i.e. partitions and non-load bearing walls will be made as plasterboard. The columns bearing the load of the ceilings are designed as square steel columns. The finish of the internal walls will be in the form of fine stucco. On the facade, the traditional basic building material, i.e. bricks, should be used to clad the facade of the entire building.
