Idea projektu

The project aims to rejuvenate the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall area by incorporating green elements to address urban heat island effects and enhance social inclusivity. The space, known for its historical and cultural significance, is reimagined as an environmentally friendly and socially welcoming urban living room.

Popis projektu

Inspired by personal experiences and societal debates, the project envisions transforming the Memorial Hall area into a climate-resilient and socially inclusive space. The design leverages green architecture to mitigate extreme heat and provide a communal area for leisure and cultural activities, promoting a harmonious and free urban environment.

Technické informace

The project involves constructing large umbrella-like structures around the main hall and the plaza, integrating sustainable features like natural ventilation and cooling systems. These structures will host multifunctional spaces for dining, reading, and community events, enhancing user comfort and urban livability. Advanced analysis of solar radiation and wind flow informs the design to effectively reduce temperatures and create a vibrant, accessible urban space.
