The idea of the project is to combine nature and put it into a design that will integrate the people's need to connect greenery with leisure. I want to give people a place where they can spend time in winter, recharge themselves with sunshine and take a break from the cold and bad weather. As the watersport center is a great way to make use of the water closeness, it would be reasonable to focus also on another function dedicated to a wider group of people. My attempt to define this place is to create a wellness center attracting not only citizens from all parts of the city but also tourists. That will surely boost the economic growth of the district by creating lots of workplaces and gathering services around the designed center. This wellness center will consist of a pool, saunarium and body treatment zone with a unique approach to tropical climate features.
The scope of the entire project includes the construction of two buildings with a service and recreational function: the main building housing a botanical garden, a wellness center, a hotel and a restaurant, and an adjacent building serving as a warehouse and a marina.
The project involves developing a site near the Martwa Wisła River with two buildings: a two-story SPA with an underground parking garage and a single-story marina with equipment storage. Flood prevention measures include a water retention system and restrictions on storing pollutants. Infrastructure includes pedestrian paths, a fire road, underground parking, heat pumps, and a rainwater collection system. The project complies with local building regulations and environmental protection guidelines. The solution for the elevation design and water maintance system are explained in detail in diagrams.
