The subject of the project is the design of a family house on a sloping terrain, which is located in Šárecké valley in a newly developed golf resort. The content of the bachelor's thesis is to prepare an architectural study and a selected parts of the project at the stage for a building permit. The parcel is located on a north sloped hill with a view of the forest and surrounded nature. The house looks like a sculpture carved from a single piece of marble. Sharp white walls, simple surface treatments, orientation towards the forest and inner atrium help to find silence and shelter from the nearby bustle of the big city of Prague.
This house makes me feel calm and simple
elegance. Its clean lines and minimalist design impress
modern and sophisticated. Large glazed areas bring to
the interior a lot of natural light, which creates a pleasant
and bright atmosphere. The overall impression is very harmonious,
thanks to soft colors and simple but thoughtful
arrangement. This house also suggests a connection with nature,
especially thanks to the inner atrium with plants it brings to
interior greenery and a calm atmosphere.
The building has one floor. This partly rises from the slope above the ground. Load-bearing structures
They are made of sand-lime blocks. The ceilings are made of reinforced concrete
Vertical load-bearing structures – The load-bearing walls are made of VPC blocks with a thickness of 150-200 mm.
The perimeter masonry is monolithic reinforced concrete with a thickness of 200 mm.
Horizontal load-bearing structures – Ceilings and girders are designed from monolithic
reinforced concrete. These are unidirectional tensioned plates. The stiffening of the object will be used by
reinforced concrete girders in the perimeter of the building and beams. The beams are hidden, turned into
Attic levels.
Columns – There are 3 load-bearing steel columns in the building. Dimensions 150 mm x 150 mm
Staircase – There is no main or leveling staircase inside the building. Outdoor
the staircase serves to connect the atria and the driveway to the garden area.
Partitions – Internal partitions are designed from VPC masonry, they will then be provided with stucco and
lime-cement plaster. The front walls for guiding the installations are made of gas silicates.
Roof – The roof is flat, with an attic around the perimeter. The fall is ensured by fall wedges
EPS in the minimum decline of 2%. The minimum thickness of EPS is 200 mm. The main waterproofing layer
form foil, mechanically anchored waterproofing. The roof is equipped with a photovoltaic power plant.
Part of the roof is designed as green.
Floors – Individual floor compositions are listed in the drawing documentation. It's the floor
conducted underfloor heating on system floorboards. It is a tread layer
ceramic tiles.
Opening Fillers – Windows are designed from aluminum frames with elevation adjustment
maintenance-free.
Facade – 200-thick graphite EPS thermal insulation is anchored to the perimeter masonry
mm. The surface of the facade is provided with waterproof plaster. The complete composition is part of the drawing
documentation.
Internal surfaces – The surface of the internal walls is mostly made of lime-cement plaster
white color. Ceramic tiles are used in the bathrooms and toilets.
Suspended ceilings – Plasterboard suspended ceilings on aluminum hinges are located in the day zone
home. There is an SDK for wet areas in the bathrooms. Night, private part (rooms,
corridors, cloakrooms) is equipped with a suspended ceiling made of bioboard (SWP) suspended on curtains. Technical
the rooms are without suspended ceilings and have an approved ceiling made of visual quality concrete.
Plumbing – Plumbing features vary by location. Their description is part of the drawing
documentation.
Mechanical resistance and stability – The construction is designed to last a lifetime
resisted the load acting on it.
