Given the task of designing a 4 star mountain hotel we chose a hilltop location in Stankaj village in Peja, Kosovo, a village surrounded by beautiful mountains. The hotel's planned location is inside the area designated for building with destination-temporary residences. Our concept for the hotel's design is inspired by "Bjeshkët e Nemuna" (name of the mountain surrounding the area) and aims to blend in with the surrounding alpine landscape. The hilltop property provides free and stunning views from all four sides, so the object was broken into two wings at a 15° angle to access them.
In terms of function, the hotel is expected to have: ground floor, basement, mezzanine, 1 floor, and 1 loft floor.
Ground floor - divided into internal and external guest areas. The welcoming guest area includes a reception with currency exchange, a luggage room, a doctor's office, a souvenir shop, a ski shop, a hairdresser for women and men. There is an aperitif bar and day care as well as toilets. In the area for external guests there is a restaurant for 120 seats with a terrace for 40 seats, a kitchen for 400 guests, sanitary facilities, accommodation for the kitchen staff, wardrobes for staff and guests.
Mezzanine - divided into internal and external guest area. The indoor guest area includes a billiard room, reading room, day care, restrooms. The administration offices are also located in the school. The area for external guests contains the national restaurant for 50 seats, the cafe for 100 seats with a terrace for 80 seats, manual kitchen, cloakroom for guests and toilets.

The external walls are made of clay blocks with dimensions t=30 cm which are covered with wood, while on the inside they are finished with lime varnish and have the dimension t=10 cm. The walls of the stairs and the elevator are made of reinforced concrete with
