The aim of the project is to help the homeless reintegrate back into society by not just giving them a roof over their head but teaching them new skills and sharing them with the surrounding community fostering connection between them and providing their lives with new purpose.
This project consists of 5 elements. 4 public sections which include a gathering space which acts as the heart of the area, a market hall, a learning center and administration space and a private section which consists of small housing units acting as accommodation
The project is constructed using locally sourced materials such as wood from the Mvule tree, metal sheets from a local roofing factory within the region (Jinja, Uganda) and compressed earth blocks (C.E.B)
