In search of protection from stress, people are increasingly turning to methods of natural healing: contemplative relaxation by the water, positive emotions from communicating with nature. But not everyone lives by the sea and cannot go to it at any moment. Therefore, the aquarium, which combines the possibility of traveling to the underwater world, entertainment and recreational functions, and its natural expositions, is a great alternative to expensive and sometimes dangerous trips to distant countries.
It is very important that the aquarium is also a scientific and educational institution that studies the biology and habitat conditions of aquatic animals and promotes environmental protection.
The construction and development of the aquarium is one of the most promising and profitable areas of large business. Having appeared relatively recently, the aquarium industry literally exploded the entertainment industry and quickly rose to the top of the business Olympus.
World practice clearly confirms the high profitability of oceanarium construction projects. More and more aquariums are being built all over the world - each of them demonstrates excellent payback rates.
Designing an aquarium on Lake Issyk-Kul can be a very relevant and promising project for several reasons.
Here are the main aspects that make such a project interesting and meaningful:
• Ecosystem of Central Asia: A unique opportunity to present the wealth of aquatic ecosystems in Central Asia. The focus is on the rivers and lakes of this region, with the representation of diverse species of fish, aquatic plants and local flora and fauna.
• Education and Research: Creating educational programs for visitors of all ages about marine and aquatic ecosystems. Laboratories for schoolchildren, lectures, interactive booths and programs to maintain interest in the world of oceans and water resources.
• Thematic zones: The division of the aquarium into thematic zones representing different oceans and seas. Using virtual reality and augmented reality technologies to create a unique experience.
• Conservation of biodiversity: Emphasis on the protection and conservation of rare and vulnerable species. Participation in marine ecosystem restoration projects and maintenance of endangered species breeding programs.
• Artificial elements: Using innovative design and architecture to create unique images of the ocean depths, such as underwater tunnels, glass floors and walls. The use of artificial lighting to create an atmosphere of the underwater world.
• Environmental sustainability: The application of environmentally sustainable technologies such as solar panels and water recycling systems. Waste management and the use of environmentally friendly materials.
• Entertainment activities: Organization of shows with dolphins, penguins and other marine life. Entertainment programs and interactive activities for visitors.
• Partnerships with scientific institutions: Partnerships have been established with scientific and research institutions to share knowledge and data. Conducting scientific research and experiments within the aquarium.
• Social engagement: Involving local communities in the project through volunteer programs and activities. Organizing activities to foster awareness and responsible behavior in relation to water resources.
• Attracting tourists: Lake Issyk-Kul is a popular tourist destination in Kyrgyzstan. The aquarium can become an additional tourist attraction, attracting both local and international tourists.
Thus, the aquarium can be an important tool for education, science, nature conservation, entertainment and tourism development, which makes it a valuable contribution to society and the environment, as well as to the economy of the state.
Based on the purpose of the building, when searching for a common concept for this object, a bionic approach of shaping was used based on many analogues of both aquariums and objects of other purpose.
The main idea of shaping was the introduction of a bionic form into architecture, creating a harmonious image linking the external environment with the marine theme.
White was chosen as the main color of the exterior, as it allows you to harmoniously fit this object into the environment, creates a light floating image and allows you to focus on the ideological meaning of the building. Blue and blue shades were chosen as an addition to white. In combination with them, the white color gives the association of a foaming wave. And the different shades create a connection with the lake and the marine theme, thus reflecting the purpose of the object, as well as the dome imitating a pearl.
The interior was based on the features of the terrain and habitat of the animal world, which are used in the design depending on the thematic area of the exposition.
As an example, it can be a "Tropical Zone" decorated in the power of the jungle, an "Amazon Zone" - a freshwater zone with an Aztec-style interior, a "Reef zone" whose interior is decorated with three-dimensional decorations in the form of reefs, and real living reefs are presented in aquariums, an "Exposition zone" imitating a real waterfall or an open a pool with ramps, etc.

The aquarium project on Lake Issyk-Kul includes a multifunctional building that will consist of several zones, each of which offers a unique experience for visitors. Here is a detailed description and composition of the building:

The aquarium project on Lake Issyk-Kul will create a unique space for exploring and enjoying marine life. It will combine educational, entertainment and environmental elements, giving visitors the opportunity not only to see the diversity of marine fauna, but also to learn more about its conservation and importance to the planet.

Technické informace

A frame-wall structural system was adopted for the aquarium building, and a wall structural system was adopted for the dolphinarium building. The main structural elements of the building are horizontal (ceilings), vertical (columns) and foundations, forming a single spatial system that serves as the supporting skeleton of the building. The method of construction is monolithic Material - reinforced concrete. The main purpose of the structural basis of the building is the perception of the loads acting on the building, ensuring continuous operation and resistance to adverse effects throughout their service life.
The monolithic frame provides:
-an increase in strength characteristics, which are important for the aquarium building, since it is subjected to dynamic loads, including vibrations from aircraft taking off and landing, as well as from ground transport
-increase the service life of the building
-a unique opportunity for free redevelopment of premises in any period: design, construction and operation
Complex metal-reinforced concrete spatial structures with stiffening diaphragms were chosen to cover the aquarium building for the following reasons:
• For spans up to 24-30 m, structures made of pure reinforced concrete are more appropriate.
• The use of complex structures allows you to dramatically reduce steel consumption compared to steel structures, increase the capital of the structure under construction, reduce its cost and at the same time not too much increase the own weight of the coating itself (due to the use of thin-walled reinforced concrete elements).
• The complex structure of the spatial coating consists of a prefabricated or monolithic reinforced concrete shell supported by steel diaphragms in the form of beams, trusses, arches, etc. In this case, a thin—walled reinforced concrete shell performs enclosing and load-bearing functions, and steel diaphragms - the functions of load-bearing elements working together with the shell and providing overall rigidity and stability of the structure.
• The joint work of the reinforced concrete slab with the steel beams supporting it is ensured.
• A compressed tubular concrete rack can withstand a significantly greater load than the sum of the loads perceived separately by a steel rough and a concrete core.
• The use of a complex metal-reinforced concrete spatial structure with stiffening diaphragms has many advantages:
• The combination of metal and reinforced concrete elements allows you to achieve high strength and rigidity of the structure. Metal provides excellent extensibility and flexibility, while concrete provides high compressive strength.
• Such structures perfectly withstand various loads, including wind and seismic. Stiffening diaphragms provide stability and prevent deformations.
• Spatial structures allow for evenly distributed loads, which reduces the risk of local stresses and damage.
• The combination of metal and reinforced concrete provides more opportunities to create diverse and complex architectural forms.
• Metal-reinforced concrete structures are highly resistant to corrosion and other adverse environmental influences, which increases the service life of the building.
• Stiffening diaphragms improve the overall safety of the structure, making it more resistant to external influences and reducing the risk of collapse.
• The use of pre-fabricated elements allows you to speed up the construction process, as many parts of the structure can be made in advance and quickly assembled on site.
As a result, the frame structural system and complex metal-reinforced concrete structures with stiffening diaphragms represent an effective and reliable solution for the construction of an aquarium building.
