The primary aim of this project is to construct a centralized administrative building to serve the six dispersed regional offices of the organization. Currently, these offices are located in different parts of the region, which has created significant challenges in facilitating efficient workflow and coordination between them. The new administrative building will consolidate all regional operations under one roof, providing a dedicated hub for the organization's management and decision-making processes. This will include housing the office of the regional vice president, as well as the main administrative departments such as finance, human resources, procurement, and strategic planning.
The project focuses on the six offices who are in need of working space currently which are:
-Trade and market bureau
-Revenue bureau
-Enterprise bureau
-TVET head office
-Representative office
-City planning and construction bureau
The project was based on the green architecture thematic approach as the semester focuses thematic integration. Each spaces was crafted to have the best indoor air quality with out any introduction of active cooling systems the building life cycle was in consideration when choosing building materials and building techniques.
