Idea projektu

This project is implemented by generating a new landscape for the front of the city of Rosario, recognizing the layers of the land and seeks to establish a new productive pole that will serve as a meeting point for merchants and producers in the surrounding area.

From this place, the idea is to generate an architectural element that respects the identity of the place and at the same time, to promote the productive and cultural growth of the area.

The project consists of two volumes, a first perimeter ring and a higher roof volume that houses the main programs. At the same time, both roofs enclose different landscapes and provide that relationship with the environment.

Popis projektu

The floor plan is constituted in a comb shape where the entire building hangs from the north head. The ring stores service programs on the south side and social programs on the north side, while it expands with a water patio to the east and an earth patio to the west.

Technické informace

The 12x6 module layout is distributed in 3 strips of programs and courtyards where a market in relation to the arrival from the river, an administration and research in the central strip, and incubators towards the productive land courtyard coexist.

A characteristic of the wetlands is that sedimentation raises the water level on the coast and lowers it again towards the interior of the wetland. That is why the project copies this footprint left by the land and generates a single deck of the same height and what varies is the floor.
