This work is dedicated to exploring current aspects of interior design for event spaces intended for hosting events and conferences. The relevance of this topic is driven by the growing demand for creative and versatile spaces for organizing various events. The purpose of this work is to identify modern approaches to the interior design of event spaces and analyze regulatory requirements and trends in this field.
During the analysis of the design object, the architectural configuration and unique features of the building were identified. Based on the developed technical assignment, an experimental design project was created for a multifunctional space located on the second floor of Pavilion No. 4 at the Kyiv International Exhibition Center. The concept was described, and the approach to zoning and equipping the premises was justified, considering regulatory requirements. Materials were selected, lighting scenarios were developed, and visualizations of the object were created.
To develop a design project for the second floor of the IEC Kyiv pavilion, it is planned to partially change its functional purpose by creating an innovative event space. The main goal of the project is to provide a modern and technologically rich environment for individual and group work, recreation, educational events, and communication.
This project consists of the following parts: planning and drawings made in Archicad, and visualizations that reflect the visual solution of the project.
The project is being designed on the second floor of the 4th pavilion, which has an area of 5321.8 m² and includes an entrance group with a staircase and escalators, a main hall and a corridor for freight elevators and emergency exits. This space allows for a variety of events such as exhibitions, conferences, seminars, performances, etc. due to its large area and adaptability.
