This project is mainly the site of Schindler's story, which carries a lot of historical events. I think the purpose of transforming this building is to make people aware of the history and reflect on the history, interspersed with the history of the family business. Through the creation of different scenes, visitors can be more empathic.
Before entering the main site, I imagined that visitors would go from the train station on the north side or drive to the site on the north side, where they would first visit the historic buildings that have been preserved and not a little updated. As a forshadowing for the mood of the entire tour route. The main part of the project is a museum and a historical memorial hall. It contains a photo interaction area and a memorial area. There is also a preserved historical workshop in the main building, which is used to educate people about the history of the textile mill and the history of the family. The former soldier's building has been transformed into a small library, which contains books and materials about the family history, as well as the history and materials about the Jewish people during World War II, so that visitors can further understand the history they want to know. In the middle of the two buildings, inspired by Schindler's last ring, a walking loop has been built, surrounded by commemorative trees, so that people can put down their heavy hearts and look to the future.
The building is mainly composed of brick and steel structure workshops.
