The landscape design of the project refers us to the history of the place - a former textile factory. An important element of the landscape design became the metaphor of the "Red Thread," which runs through the entire development area, connecting the past with the present and the future. This thread, like a red line of history, reminds us of the continuity and succession of traditions.
It will run throughout the territory of the former factory, connecting the future residential complex and museum. The main part of the pathway is a red rubber covering. In some places, it "grows" into benches where residents can sit and relax, while in others, it is planted with red flowers.
The architectural and artistic concept of the residential complex project in the village of Brnenec represents a harmonious combination of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and historical memory. Inspired by sandstone, the forms of the buildings symbolize cultural continuity, while the landscape design incorporating the metaphor of the "Red Thread" unites the past, present, and future. These elements create a unique and profound space that not only meets modern requirements for comfortable living but also carefully preserves the memory of significant events and traditions.
Residential buildings are designed with a monolithic reinforced concrete frame. This frame allows for a flexible system of modular coordination of dimensions and structural parameters (any required floor height, including varying heights within one building if necessary; placement of flat slabs with slopes if needed; variable column grid dimensions). The composite monolithic floor slabs are flat without protruding parts into the interior space. The chosen structural scheme allows for various planning solutions.
