How to design the Ciputra University Jakarta building to follow the planned master plan and represent the IPE concept in accordance with Ciputra Group's culture and how to design a building with the concepts of Health and Wellbeing and Green Building?
Ciputra University Jakarta is designed in harmony with naturally occurring fluid dynamics, which are also found in life. Based on the dynamic nature of fluids, which do not resist change, this building is designed to ensure its occupants are always ready to face any changes quickly and enthusiastically. The building is also designed with a focus on Health and Wellbeing and Green Building concepts to achieve the goals of sustainable development or Sustainable Development Goals.
Using solar panel technology saves energy and replaces fossil fuels and greenhouse gases. These panels are a renewable and green energy source because they do not cause pollution. We also use porous concrete, which has pores that can absorb rainwater, is used on the roads surrounding the UC Jakarta building. This concrete helps manage water runoff effectively. Furthermore, the NEWater water treatment system is employed, utilizing the separation of rainwater drainage channels. The collected water is then filtered and disinfected with UV light to restore its pH balance, ensuring it is safe and clean for use.
There is a core in the middle of each tower as the building's structure, and a rigid frame is used to improve the building's lateral resistance. The core contains vertical transportation.
