Design an Addiction Rehabilitation Center in Qalhat al Koura, Lebanon, inspired by nature's healing power. The center addresses the root causes of addiction, offering holistic recovery and reintegration into the community. The architecture mirrors the stages of addiction recovery, utilizing biomimicry of pebbles to create a serene, resilient environment. Public and private zones are strategically placed to enhance patient experience, with a central therapeutic garden providing a tranquil, natural sanctuary.

The primary objective of this project is to create a comprehensive addiction rehabilitation center that not only treats the symptoms of addiction but also addresses its root causes. The center aims to support individuals in their recovery journey and help them reintegrate as productive members of society.

Technické informace

The Addiction Rehabilitation Center in Qalhat al Koura, Lebanon, is designed with sustainable and resilient construction practices. The structure incorporates high-strength materials like reinforced concrete and engineered timber, inspired by biomimicry of pebbles. It features advanced passive solar design, renewable energy sources such as solar panels, and efficient water management systems, including rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling. The facility spans multiple zones—public, semi-public, and private—ensuring patient privacy and security through strategic layout and natural barriers. Central to the design is a therapeutic garden that uses universal design principles for accessibility, fostering a healing connection with nature. The project adheres to local building codes and environmental regulations, ensuring minimal impact on the natural landscape.
