the professor asked us to choose one of the human's emotions such as happiness, sadness, courage, etc., and design a pavilion according to the emotion chosen by the students. Maximum dimensions 20*20 m.
I chose the emotion (Passion). I chose this emotion because, in reality, I am passionate about architecture. Thus it was a very interesting project to me.
this project consists of one open-air space ( no roof, doors, or windows ), There are also ceilings, walls, and stairs at the front, and a ramp at the back to facilitate the entry of special needs and vehicles. because the pavilion can be an exhibition hall as another possible function other than a Pavilion. The shape of the ceiling resembles a fire flame and represents passion. Fire is strong and can penetrate any obstacle or object, and so is passion. the wooden flam goes from one wall and penetrates the other wall and goes beyond, as a presentation of a passionate man (person) overcoming any obstacle in their way, the idea is that nothing can stop a passionate man. I chose the red color because it is the color of the heart which is the home of the passion.
the construction of the building is entirely made of laminated wood, and it can be disassembled and rebuilt in other locations.
