Idea projektu

Choosing a theme for the pavilion was not easy. I chose between robotics and ecology. But recently I visited with friends a lecture «Konstantin Melnikov. Exhibition architecture». At some point in my head, I started thinking, «Should I make a pavilion about bread? Should I remind people why it is important?». This idea got a continuation and I began to develop my pavilion.

The first appearance of the pavilion looked like a typical constructivism. But later I gave up on this, and only the columns on which the pavilion stands are a memory of the first idea.

The result was a pavilion with an interesting entrance group and a modular system of parallepieds, where there is everything for studying bread - from a permanent exhibition to a cafe with co-working, where you can sit, enjoy the taste and smell of bread, and also look at the work of a huge stove. Bread is the foundation of food. Man can do without silver, but without bread will not live.

Popis projektu

As you know, the loaf of bread has dimensions of 190x115x115. This parameter was chosen by me as a space module and started playing with it. The input group I decided to make in the form of a truncated circle, and the other modular blocks in the form of parallepieds, the length of each is about 82-85 loaves of bread in length. Of course, this is a lot of booze! But still there you need to accommodate the stove, equipment and other things, and also do not forget about the person. After all, he should enjoy bread comfortably.

For the ease of studying bread, the pavilion has the logic of space and I’m going to tell you about it. Everything starts on the 1st floor, where there is a vestibule, vestibule and wardrobe. For the first floor this was enough, so we move to the 2nd floor. The space of the second floor is built on an annular method and is specially raised above the ground so that the visitor does not miss anything. So, once on the 2nd floor, we get into the permanent exhibition area - there is a detailed history of the appearance of bread, how people survived only because of it. When the study is finished, the second zone begins, namely, the non-permanent exposure. Here are already modern artists, sculptors can place their works of art and tell about bread on their own behalf. Finally, we transfer to the heart of the pavilion - a kitchen area with a huge stove! Here you can look at the work of the kitchen, buy bread or bake it yourself! When the bread is on the tray, the person gets into the cafe area and eats. And then goes to the area of souvenir shops and can buy as a book with recipes, so seeds. And finally - when we receive something, we always give something back. So the end of the story will be a recycling zone. You need to take care of yourself, the planet and the pavilion. After all, you can build additional elements of the pavilion later.

Technické informace

The walls are made of dark wood. This property should resemble bread. Since the pavilion is built according to the ring method, it also has its own center - the patio. In this center you can look at the heart of the pavilion - a brick oven and inscription on it "Bread around the head". A brick is a kind of metaphor that you can build something big out of something small.

Do not forget about the territory around the pavilion - it is built like an internal stretch and there is a bread exhibition in the open air, a waterfront, where you can eat a loaf with wind in your hair, a chicken coop (Remember the souvenir shop? So, there you can buy seeds and feed chickens! Or leave crumbs after the cafe especially for our smaller brothers) and the area with a monument, where pigeons can paint everything white.
