As students of the University of The Bahamas, we have designed a resilient and sustainable fire house for Berezynska St. in Dnipro in Ukraine. Our goal is to effectively yet intentionally design a modern, innovative fire station to foster hope during the ongoing conflict. As Bahamian designers, we understand the need for architecture that is beautiful yet minimally effect the environment.
DESIGN INTENT :
- Create a resilient, functional fire station that
serves as a symbol of hope in conflict-affected
areas, integrating seamlessly into the urban
landscape while meeting the specific needs of
emergency response operations.
