The idea of ​​the project was about light and energy.
The project is located in the future city of Al Nour, which connects the city of Bab al-Mandab and Djibouti. Al Nour International Airport is an airport designed in a smart and unique way. The golden angle was used in the design of every part inside the airport, and the main idea is based on the golden angle.
Al Nour International Airport is a sustainable and environmentally friendly airport. Every kinetic energy generated by a person by walking is an electrical source.
Thinking outside the box was done to reach the final idea.
The idea is a combination of the sun, moon and butterfly.
Since the sun is the source of light that the Earth depends on during the day
Since the moon derives its light from the sun.

The sun contains seven  color spectra.  one of them is  purple.
The moon depends on the sun for its light. The moon completes its orbit around the sun in 27.3 days.
Its days are the number of days that a type of purple butterfly lives.
Here we find a very strange link between the moon and this butterfly.
. One of the meanings of the color violet is that it indicates the union between the soul and the body.
From here, we set out to embody this idea.
So that the moon represents the body and the
butterfly represents the soul.

A central garden was created in the middle of the project block to embody the idea of ​​openness to the world and that this place is the place of light that emanates to the world.

Goals and objectives :
1_The airport is the first cultural image that is imprinted in people’s minds. I aspire to design an airport inside Yemen that gives a distinctive image in people’s minds about our beautiful civilization.
2_ I graduate from university and present a distinguished project that demonstrates my ability to become a distinguished architect

The project is made up
From one floor for departure and one floor for arrival. It consists of a basement and contains a baggage inspection system. The project also contains a tram as an internal means of transportation for people.
The project also consists of a duty-free market, customs, passports, and bag inspection devices. A hotel and an aircraft museum, which contains local and international restaurants and cafes.
It also contains waiting rooms and games halls.

Technické informace

A veneer system was used to cover the roofs.
Mechanoluinescene was used as a luminous material in the ceilings, as this material is affected by wind energy and illuminates the ceiling. Here, the idea of ​​the project is completed by lighting the moon at night.
