As an assignment for "Architectural Design" subject, I had thought about multiple ways of making a new concept, simultaneously I was doing some intense reading about deconstruction and post-modernism both in pure abstract theory and philosophy and also the impact on design on a physical tangible level.

The collage photo-manipulation design stems from an approach I was trying to develop, which is "Architectural" photo-bashing, which is already known, but I tried to make the environment about the main subject to be surreal, which is why I used multiple layers of different buildings in an overarching position, which is inspired by science fiction.

I applied the concept of deconstruction lines which shows the metaphysical disintegration of real matter, and applied that to the a metaphysical concept which is Islamic theology, for the end result to be two contradictory concepts existing at the same time.

The Renders show the slow development process of the project, which made me arrive at the final result (1st image), I kept trying and altering the relations and scale of bulk/solid volumes and negative spaces, until I resided on that final result which is satisfying concerning the amount of time which was available for this project.

Technické informace

If this pavilion was to be executed in real life, it will utilise steel and glass primarily as building materials.
