Idea projektu

The inspiration for the form of the building was the physical effect of diffusion, so the building itself is an architectural drop placed in the natural environment. The idea of the project is to position each room in a different position so that each hotel guest gets their own unique view. The paths that lead to each room are designed in a fashion that provides the best possible view angles of the stunning lake and creates a space underneath that stimulates the emotions of pedestrians walking through that area. The main objective of the project was to create an emotional journey that every guest can experience in a slightly different and unique way.

Popis projektu

The hotel project comprises 20 rooms, each strategically positioned to offer a unique view. The pathways leading to the rooms are designed to guide guests to their accommodations. The hotel features a lobby with a reception counter, an office, a conference room, and a social room for the hotel staff. Additionally, there is a restaurant, storage spaces, technical rooms, and a sports center with storage facilities for rental bikes and recreational equipment. The lobby, office, and conference room are located on the +1 level, while the technical part of the building, sports center, and restaurant are situated on the 0 level. The rooms, on the other hand, are not tied to any specific level, resulting in a more loose structure.

Technické informace

All elements of construction are made of reinforced concrete. The restaurant, lobby, and technical part of the building are supported by a foundation slab. The rooms and pathways leading to the rooms are supported by pillars, as they are suspended over moist ground and water. The elevations of the reception, restaurant, and rooms feature bare concrete, while the pathways are covered with a steel grid that allows visibility, making them unheated areas of the building. The connection between the lobby and the sports center is also covered by the same grid, but it has an additional layer of glass on the inside, making it a heated space.
