Idea projektu


The research idea stemmed from the researcher's concern as a fitness enthusiast in commercial fitness centers located within shopping malls. These malls are commercial buildings that do not adhere to climate principles. Additionally, local fitness centers often lack comfort in terms of natural ventilation and lighting. Furthermore, existing fitness centers tend to neglect providing comfort for individuals with disabilities, leading to obesity among this group.

Popis projektu

The project is located in South Tangerang, West Java, Indonesia. In this project there is a fitness center area specifically for disabilities, then vertical circulation for disabilities using an elevator. The bioclimatic element uses plants and recesses areas as cooling zones, then the selection of brick materials that are resistant to the sun and the use of rosters and bricks as one of the economic cultures in the South Tangerang area where there are many selling products derived from clay. Placement of the pond as an evaporative cooling effect. In the culture section, an amphitheater is also used as a response to communal space.

Technické informace

This project uses brick material for the walls, and the bricks are local Indonesian products and are also strong against loads and have good heat resistance. In the structure using reinforced concrete.
