Idea projektu

Two earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.6 and 7.7, centered in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey, occurred, causing damage to hospital units and preventing people in rural areas from accessing health care services. Patients were treated under unfavorable conditions, and healthcare workers had to endure challenging circumstances in terms of work and accommodation. The additional disruption of utility networks further exacerbated the hardships.

Therefore, a healing capsule was designed to be located in the hospital courtyard,itcıl courtyard? offering two different modes During regular times, the capsule serves as an accommodation area, which can transform into a treatment capsule during emergencies. This design aims to reduce patient overcrowding in hospitals. Moreover, the capsule canoe placed in different geographical regions to serve the rural population

Technické informace

Equipped with photovoltaic (PV) panels on the top, the capsule is capable of generating its own electricity. Additionally, the capsule collects and filters rainwater stored in the aluminum composite facade for reuse.
This design provides a solution to prevent disruptions in healthcare services during emergencies like earthquakes and alleviate the suffering of workers and patients.
