Interior design of the foyer in the concert complex

Idea projektu

The idea of this project is to continue the embankment of the city of Rostov-on-Don, connect the main pedestrian and tourist routes and create a center of attraction. The project building is located by the Don River and opposite the main sports stadium. Also, the concert complex completes a long embankment along the river, which is one of the attractions of the city. This project solves the problem of saturation of cultural objects in this part of the city, since all public and cultural objects are located in the city center, that is, above the Don River.
The building is shaped like a wave, as it is located by the river. The interior of the foyer supports the smooth motifs of the exterior. Flowing shapes, smooth movements, light color palette. The lobby is filled with movement, and these movements guide the visitors of the concert complex. Therefore, it is difficult to get lost in this space.
The minimalistic interior will not distract from discussions and impressions of the performance during the intermission. Smooth elements of objects will help you to feel the plays smoothly and immerse yourself in reflections.

Popis projektu

The project of the concert complex is located in the Russian Federation, in Rostov-on-Don. The entrance is carried out from the Bogatyanovsky descent. The building consists of 4 aboveground floors, one of which is partially in the relief of the site. The concert complex has a large open-type auditorium for 740 people and a small "Blackbox" hall for 200 people, which are located on the 2nd floor.
In this building, the foyer of the second floor was developed at +4.500 m. The room consists of canteens, exhibition areas and recreation areas. The peculiarity of this foyer is that flexible plywood panels veneered with beech envelop the room, smoothing out sharp corners and flowing from one shape to another. Smooth lines also emphasize the exterior solutions of the concert complex.
The color scheme of the foyer creates lightness and lightness. The white color visually enlarges the space, and the color of the tree sets its semantic boundaries. The accent color is a cool dark gray, namely "marengo". It was used in furniture to indicate another function in the room, such as a sideboard.

Technické informace

The building of the concert complex itself contains a frame structural system. And the roof is a spatial shell, which is made of metal rods. Thanks to the shell system, it is possible to achieve such smooth shapes that slightly refer to the architecture of Zaha Hadid.
Interior objects, namely the staircase flowing into the amphitheater, fences flowing into the staircase, are made of metal frame and sheathed with flexible veneered panels.
