Idea projektu

SPERANZA I is a design of four buildings (visitor center, bistro with office and keeper's apartment, two boarding houses with apartments) on the site of the former village of Albrechtice u Mostu, which disappeared in the late 1970s due to the expansion of lignite mining in the ČSA mine. The materials of the designed buildings are based on the former buildings of the village, documented already on maps from the 18th century. The selection of amenities in the buildings is based on the need to revitalize the landscape after the end of mining and the creation of facilities for visitors of the region and Jezeří Chateau. The aim of the proposal was to give hope to the landscape, to restore its ancient face and to remind visitors the images of the region from past times when viewed from Jezeří.

Popis projektu

The dominant building of the entire area is the new construction of the visitor center of the region (object α) with a central open space, two multifunctional halls and sanitary facilities. The main communication area is intended for the check-in of visitors to the region, the adjacent small hall mainly for long-term and short-term exhibitions. The main hall is designed for concerts, theater performances, conferences or film screenings. The entire building is the only one in the visitor area with one floor, which at first glance is emphasized by the absence of wooden paneling on the gables and also by the distinctive roof material, which is manifested in the interior in the form of an open truss.
South of the main building of the visitor center is a multi-storey building (building β), the most prominent part of which is the bistro with facilities on the ground floor. It also includes an outdoor area, which can be used as a front garden, especially in the summer months or during larger cultural events. Part of the operation of the bistro is also a sanitary facility, the operation of which is designed to function independently and thus it is possible to use it even outside the operating hours of the catering operation. On the floor, which is visually separated even from the outside by vertical wooden laths on the facade, there is an office and an apartment of the grounds manager. These spaces are separate, the possibility of using the office and the apartment separately is also considered.
On the other side of the former (and future) village, closer to the Lake Arboretum, two identical buildings (objects γ and δ) of a pension with apartments located on the upper floor and separately accessible external staircases in the gables of the buildings are proposed. These buildings also respect the footprint of the buildings of the defunct village of Albrechtice. As in the case of the bistro, the floor plan is accentuated by partial vertical wooden battens on the facade. The operation of the boarding house with apartments is designed almost independently of the other objects of the area, the information center will be used as a reception during its operating hours, or bistro.

Technické informace

The vertical supporting structures are made of Porotherm 30 Profi bricks (with contact thermal insulation of non-combustible stone wool Rockwool FRONTROCK S 200 mm thick) and completed with lime-cement plaster (if the building is two-storey, the 2nd floor is covered with vertical wooden battens), non-load-bearing internal walls are designed from HELUZ 20 bricks, partitions from PORFIX P2-500 aerated concrete fittings. Circuit structures are designed as an external heat-insulating contact system. The horizontal ceiling structures between the 1st floor and the 2nd floor are designed as one-way reinforced concrete prestressed prefabricated SPIROLL PPD 219 panels. The roofing of all buildings is designed using a purlin truss, within which insulation is implemented (above the soffit made of fire-resistant plasterboard). Beaver-type ceramic bags in standard colors are designed as a covering for all objects. The internal staircase at the bistro with the manager's apartment is made as a prefabricated reinforced concrete double-arm with a mezzanine, the external staircase at the accommodation facilities is designed as a single arm made of stainless steel with a 1100 mm high railing.
