CONCEPT

The main goal was to create and support the vision axes of the monastery and the creek axis.
Since the solved area has a large elevation and a large mass of the monastery is situated on one of the peaks, we propose to create a counterweight using the school building. Since both objects are of the same size, they will communicate with each other pleasantly.

In the valley, a quiet pedestrian square will be created. Car traffic will be located outside this area.
In the valley there is a semi-trailer that is fully made up of objects with commercial function. As a result, it will always be a lively and sought-after place. The space offers use for markets, municipal events, decorating the Christmas tree and exhibitions of works.
The proposal puts emphasis on continuity with the stream axis and adjacent greenery. The whole village square is designed only for pedestrians, supplying objects is solved from the outside.

The school area is situated on the south side of the area, which is connected to the main entrance to the area and to the traffic service. The school consists of two buildings, between which the main pedestrian route passes to the village square. The objects are connected in the basement so that the pupils can get to the other building with a dry foot

The area is completely resolved as a residential area - sidewalks and communication in one level.

All objects are designed as barrier-free.

Popis projektu

The square is entered from three sides - from nursery, monastery and new school. The main pedestrian route is designed by the new school, from the south. It is a peaceful relaxation area with a stream stream and greenery at the end of which opens the gate to the village square. It serves as the end of the resting area and putting the visitor into the action on the village square.
The second entrance is from the nursery, it is the most massive and follows the nearby park. In this part there is a sitting in the shadows of trees also with a view of the monastery and the modified surroundings of the creek. In connection with this axis is also solved the area in front of the nursery. In this rebuilding of the village, it will acquire a new pavilion and a large garden for playing activities. In front of the nursery is designed for children's games and as an exhibition area for children's work.
The last entrance is situated from the monastery on the north side. It is a cobblestone road that will build on the new development area in the future.

OBJECTS

The village square itself consists of three buildings. The most dominant and largest is the multi-purpose hall, which has a multicultural function (hall, shops, fitness, parking). Primarily designed as a gym for a nearby school, cultural events such as forests, conferences and discussions can be held here thanks to the large hall and adjacent areas and facilities.
The second significant building is the new municipal town hall with a clock tower. This three-storey building offers all the necessary space for the office, the registry and the post office.
The third and last object is a small pension located opposite the town hall. The building offers views of both the Tuchoměřice Monastery and the modified Únětický Creek. It is a two-storey building whose ground floor is used by a restaurant for 70 people. Guests can sit on the restaurant terrace and enjoy the view of the monastery and the village square. The floor offers accommodation. There are 4 fully equipped rooms with bathroom and TV.
All masses are designed to be in accordance with the village character, build on the old buildings and bring new elements into them. The buildings are based on the village scale and do not exceed the nearby landmark - the monastery.
The whole complex is uniform, composed of the same materials and shades. All rooms are wheelchair accessible.

CONSTRUCTIONAL SOLUTIONS

Bases of cellarless objects are solved by concrete passports, white basin is designed for basement.

The peripheral load-bearing walls are made of brickwork with the strength of P10, the load-bearing columns are designed as monolithic reinforced concrete structures with a dimension of 250x250mm. Non-load bearing walls are designed with precision acoustic mortar blocks for mortar. Used are 140 and 80 mm.
Ceiling structures are designed as unidirectionally stressed boards of 200-250 mm thickness according to span. The concrete used is C 25/30 and the reinforcement B500B.

All rafter systems are solved by glued wood and trusses. The most complex roofing is designed above the multipurpose hall because of the different direction of the roof and the supporting structure. It is a combination of walnut stored rafters on masonry and prefabricated spirolla trusses.
Other trusses are solved by purlins and standing stools.

The facade of the building is designed both for contact and ventilation. Designed is a combination of vertical wooden profiles of Siberian larch, white plaster and dark gray cetris boards. Cetris boards are also used on the roof covering on an aluminum grid with falling snow barriers. All leads are concealed in the facade.
