Idea projektu

Time seconds, minutes, hours are one of the elements of Architecture which is not tangible but understandable
This is how we got over best idea about designing the port we tried to seize the moment of explosion, the time explosion scattered everything and throw the containers around and tried to re shape it to new growing opportunities , to serve the need of city , like changing apocalyptic space to heaven
So we used the mesh system structures to capture all these containers in the air so we could create places , functions to our needs
We had several needs to be supplied in this project, we needed a place for people to gather, a place to be symbol of this incident and to be a memorial place not just a simple sign
Another need in this project is a place to provide filtered air a place with quality air a park witch people would be able to meet and share ideas and connect
Our third concern was a shopping centers or places with attract possible investors a place that bring us enough activity that will follow economical options
An isolated port was one of our issues that was separating the port from the city but we need a reunion we try to delete any obstacles for people to be easily moving through the port and the now the port being part of the city again
All following ideas combined with sustainable architecture gave us the idea of using the containers and recyclable boxes in this project as a functional rooms and covering the entire site with green spaces

In this project mainly we tried to the save all the zones the sere in the past but we tried to shift the new silo to the next dick so it will give us a space to restructure and rebuilt it and we put the Old Silo to use as a gathering place
we try to mix the passenger port and office area around the middle of site so people could be easily attending their business and tried to force them to see the memorials and the old silo on their way of moving out which will attract their attention
In this port we try to extend the amount of warehouses so the capacity of the port for trading would increase and have an economical positive effect to the port
The neighborhood around it needed decent park and please for people to spend their so we created a container park in which youth could spend time like skateboarding and etc.. Or a place that could I have an industrial faces but will provide a feeling of resting and quality time
In this site we have a great Gate which covers around the statue and the silo like in a picture cover as a sign of the ports history so it crated us our slogan “a gate to the Future”
We put the shopping center which has greater structure adjacent to the site outer lines so that its visible from miles away and really provides us enough advertising opportunities that could start the economic Cycles in the sport and will provide enough jobs for locals to try to regain their position in global market.

Technické informace

The main structure type in this project is mesh which is possible to build in steel deck or reinforced concrete but the best option would be pre made structure that will give the project the time advantage
Our project is mainly followed by known shapes as cubes and cinders but some of the shapes are hybrid and are shown in the picture provided in the documents which build to follow the functions as accesses or observation (fire station)
We have some several building types with are scattered along the site so this modular system will give a simple understanding the functions of a building and how to build it
We mainly have 4 big scaled building which are (old silo, shopping center, and new silo and container parks) which are provided with diagrams and sections to be easily understood
We created 2 new shopping centers in the free zone to create new opportunities for business and because it is placed adjacent to the outer line of site easily accessible and visible it has good potential of advertisement to the area and will attract attentions
The arrangement of the warehouses are not followed by simple geometrical shapes but are followed by non –Euclidean geometry
For reducing the costs we suggest using some of the containers as rooms especially by attaching 2 or 3 of them together or even using they single (old silo, containers Park)
For more support to old silo structure and avoid the extra demolishing we enforced the structure with mesh system around it to be secure and to function as a public space and memorial to the city
The green spaces around the site will provide us with more quality air and will give us space manage pedestrians as asked in the project brief
As another thought for park we generated the idea of the containers park which is below normal ground level of the site which will give us cooler air , enough shades ,easily controllable area
