Idea projektu

The projected facilities should work for the benefit of the city. The connection of design solutions is to maintain green spaces in the city.
A developing city has a demand for high-quality architecture of its time. The architectural appearance of the exhibition complex building is based on the decomposed image of a bird - a symbol of freedom, peace and new discoveries

Popis projektu

The building is designed in the style of one of the directions of parametricism - BIONICS. The shape of the building continues the natural landscape of the green exploited roof. Spacious, bright rooms and a unique appearance will make the new building a popular public platform for holding events significant for the city.
The building is divided into 4 floors, where one is underground and three are above ground. Taking into account the specifics of the building - the exhibition center, it has an administrative block, a warehouse, a common space and the exhibition halls themselves. The exhibition halls have a large amount of natural light, which makes the building energy efficient.

Technické informace

At the stage of concept development, we provided for the use of a frame structural system. The main elements of this system are columns and ceilings. and places with a large span are covered with metal trusses. The cantilevered part of the building is supported by branched columns that are rigidly fixed on a dirt base. The light elements on the roof are made of ETFE membrane, which is also favorable for energy efficiency and economy of the building.
The building itself and the branching columns were made by programming nodes. The script of the building is attached with the last image. The parametric model of the building was created in Rhinoceros and Grasshopper, so if there are those who want to repeat this model, use our script as an instruction :)
