Idea projektu

War brings chaos, confusion and disappearance, and in this design, the metaphor of GETTING LOST has been tried to be obtained by interpreting the LABYRINTH analogy together. This design is a continuation of Çimenlik Castle (1460s), which is the oldest building in the historical texture of the city in the north, and the starting point of the labyrinth is provided by a steel bridge from this direction.

Popis projektu

First of all, while approaching the design from the upper level, the traces left by the LABYRINTH on the upper floor are tried to make the visitors feel the anxiety of GETTING LOST. There are different semantic spaces /courtyards on the starting and ending route of the spatial setup. These are in order; BEGINNING (with reference to Namazgah Bastion), DEFENSE (with reference to Çimenlik Castle) ATTACK (with reference to Hamidiye Bastion), LIBERATION (with reference to Martyrs' Monument).
