Modern art`s museum in Rostov-on-Don, Russia

Idea projektu

The idea of the project was to bring Modern Art to the city of Rostov as there are not so many Museums and Galleries in the city. Located at the very city center, at the beautiful street of Pushkinskaya, the museum connects all the rich history of the city with the future.

Popis projektu

The task was to design Museum using not only free space of the construction site, but also connect it with two historical buildings. One of them became an educational part of the museum with the library and lecturing hall, while another is planned totally for stuff of the museum where they have all the nesessary rooms for work.

Technické informace

The construction system of the building is frame wall. All the constructions are monolitic reinforced concrete. One of the features of the facades is stained glass. These are triangle pieces of glass, shaping in nesessary direction. It`s construction system is spyder system.
