The idea of this project is establishing value of the hidden place through attraction and utilizing maximum resources in parallel to protect in the place. The master project ambition was to provide sustainability in the community and their economy through developing tourism in the area. The selected area divided to three zones as town area, intermediate zone and river front. Through that I focused on river front development zone and further concern about sustaining the community through its ecological value. According to the urban development plan, the site I selected is a place that can be developed as a commercial hub and it has close proximity to Digana Township with easy accessibility. And this is a central hidden paradise in the water front with the best view point with natural terrain.

Agriculture was the main source of income for villagers in selected site, with the formation of the Victoria Reserve, all those fertile lands were lost to the people around them. At the same time they lost all their sources of income. After the Victoria project, mainly locals tend to inland fishing as main income source. Although focused on inland fishing, this place does not have the maximum productivity. The villagers and the visitor’s interact with the environment without any awareness. With less awareness and less attraction people tend to an unauthorized activities and pollution. Due to sanctions against that reservoir and it values are not properly utilized. Therefore, people have not been able to earn income through proper consumption of resources. According to our urban development plan I am going to establishing value of the place through attraction. Prove that where the value of the place and resources to locals and visitors. It affected to utilize maximum resources in parallel to protect in the place. This project providing extra source of income to villagers. They get opportunity to work in conjunction with the resort and they get the opportunity to break free from loneliness and socialize with people. so the design keyword is emphasizing in resources of Victoria reservoir. ambition is provide awareness for make maximum usage of Victoria reservoir through protecting and highlighting its beauty. My concept is fragmented by nature the best option to let people know the value of something is through experience. Accordingly, in order to advertise the value here, people have to interact with the environment. All that needs to be done through providing work-intimate environmental experiences through build spaces that shared by nature. Here it propose to establishing fluidity through green pocket spaces with solid void combination throughout different levels and utilizing maximum resources of nature through emphasizing its values. The various qualities of the environment are highlighted in building through different levels and initial conceptual idea shows that how it merge through natural terrain. In order to achieve this conceptual idea, it proposed to provide environmental awareness to visitors and locals through physically and mentally. This achieve through providing activities and experiences with continuous visualization and with feelings. the architectural strategies also promote awareness trough building.

Technické informace

The construction of the building is made of light weight steel structure with timber finishes. all the materials are eco friendly and indigenous materials. the building elevated through light weight structure with minimum foot print and properly responded to the sensitive site.
