Idea projektu

The idea of this project is the problem we are facing to have a new place; Turning destroyed buildings into touristic spaces.
This idea wants to make a port with efficient transportation and memorable sights for tourists, economic justification and cultural functions and activities for local citizens and international tourists.

Popis projektu

In design we tried to achieve a fluid design inspired by waves of the sea and regular geometry of silos. In addition we tried to consider flexibility as well. As can be seen, the plan is flexible in both in terms of geometry and purposed functions. The ability to use different spaces, mixed uses and diverse users confirms this claim. On the other hand, attending environmental factors, tried to apply sustainability isues effectively so as nit to harm environment of the port. Also by considering arches to define and seprate places, especially on the seacoast, we try to notice several airways for the port, which originate from the concept.

Technické informace

The constructions of buildings are made of white and red bricks and also to use the glass for hotels to see the sea is also prioritized; because white color is symbol of warmth and inviting spaces and red is inspired by local architecture of Beirut. Also by considering arches to define and seprate places, especially on the seacoast, we try to notice several airways for the port, which originate from the concept.
