High rise building in 20 century are more common around the Africa but it’s have a lot of dis advantage to due to the society and culture aspect b/c the way of living and working are different in Africa
The design project are located in Ethiopia Addis Ababa around Mexico one of the node of Addis Ababa the whole cultural and commercial activities come together but in this site high rise building are opposite of this aspect they are like a very private white collar boxes.
In this design project try to solve this aspect of the site by creating the middle ground for two opposite cultural and commercial activities

The design project has high rise office building located in Ethiopia Addis Ababa, Mexico next to hibret bank HQ. Its 172m high and the total land area is 8,665.11 it has 3 podium join by bridge and 2 tower connecting by sky bridge and three parking entrance over all building include 3 floor underground and 48 story’s on ground
There are 460 underground parking lot and 30 surface parking lots and three entrance for the parking two are vehicular on pedestrian the vehicular help to manage the car movement in site and the pedestrian use for emergency exist
The building has three podium that connecting with the bridge and it able to move easily and doing commercial actives in the roof of this podium it have a commercial space for blue collar to create a space democratization and give a more approach for user. It change the typical roof of building jam with duct and generator into dynamic and adapting space that respect the society culture
The tower have 2 sky lobby that connect with the other the tower it’s create a smooth flow with the 2 towers and the people easily move from on tower to another without out of the building
The amphitheater and the food court integrate with the site need to create active and dynamic activities in the site

Technické informace

The podium floor to ceiling height are 4m BY increasing the floor height increase the air flow to the interior space. The façade is the continues line of the ground represent by the mullion the double skin protect the interior space from harsh sun
in this project there are two types of fire system the sprinkles and gas suppression system .In the Addis Ababa weather Hvac system are not importance as other world b/c its good weather all of the year the project main focus by integrating Hvac system with natural ventilation achieve the good sustainably building with less cost
The main structure of this design project are core structure for the tower and the frame structure for the podium the sky bridge connect with ridge structure it wind resistance and long span
There are 2 foundation system in the project pile and isolated foundation system the pile use for the tower and the other structure like podium and parking lots use isolated foundation
The main core contain two bath room 6 passenger lift 2 services lift with emergency stair case and system room
