Idea projektu

The idea of sustainable development is "our common future", which is why we want to create a self-sufficient community in Oasis. Residents will be able to grow fruit, vegetables for their own needs, and exchange or sell them at the market.

Popis projektu

The planned area has been divided into three parts: the first quarter referring to the existing-low buildings, houses with gable roofs constitute the first part. Each house gains additional space in the form of a winter garden, where it can grow vegetables, fruits and other plants, as well as rest and spend free time. Using the idea of sustainable development, we introduce urban farming.

The second part consists of a series of residential and commercial buildings with adjacent service pavilions, where users of the Oasis area can exchange plants, fruits and vegetables. Pavilions are a universal element of land development and can be used, among others, For exhibitions, markets, foodtracks, special events, festivities and concerts.

The last part of the designed area consists of stairs with ramps created on the extension of the compositional axis of the streets. They open the previously invisible landscape created by, among others, Ramier Island and enables contact with the river. Light / openwork / transparent elements create a microclimate that improves air quality. Residents can adjust their size and shape to their needs.
