For this project I had to find a real building, find a new function and design the interior for it.

The space I have chosen is located on Caesar Bolliac Street, Timisoara.
At present, the building has the office space function for a software company.
As you can see from the location plan the building extends over the whole
surface of the plot that communicates with the street. Access is made through a gap separating the ground floor in two areas with different accesses. By this feature the space separates, the only connection between the two parts of the building being possible at the level of the 1st floor. The two parts of the building are almost in the mirror, with little difference. The building is a relatively new one built after the 90's and is in a very good condition. The interior space is a very well lit up floor, with a rather wide glass window. The materials I found inside are: carpet and floor tiles, and the stairs are made with wooden and a metallic structure. On the walls is used washable which in several rooms is a colorful one. The furniture is simple, consisting in desks and some storage cabinets. Another feature of the space is that at the level of the floor one can see the inclination of the
ceiling to the roof ridge. This is only visible from the rooms, while the ceiling is masked by a horizontal plate. As a function of the space I chose to be a fashion design studio + dwelling. The reason for my choice is given by the special
character of space, which by having two main accesses inside requires a justification for this organization. Through this organizational way, the studio owner can work from home, this being very favorable to a tailor because meeting with customers for measurements can be better organized and more flexible. I chose a part of the building, namely the ground floor, to be dedicated to living, the floor dedicated to the workshop, and the other part of the ground floor dedicated to an exhibition and sales area.
