Camera was taken as an inspiration for the form as its a device that captures all our memories from the past and present experiences.
Camera was taken to represent the fact that one gets the feel of having moved through the memories, like a transistion from present to past.
Each floor represents a different architectural work, representing different ages.
Popis projektu
The Project is to design an art center suitable for all age groups it consists of auditoriums, art gallerys, library, recreational spaces, restaurants etc. The site is located towards the northern side of Marine drive near the Goshree bridge. There are many major residential apartment buildings in the nearby proximity and is well connected by the Goshree read and the container terminal roads. The location and the high rate of commercial activity happening in this area makes the site apt for a mixed-use development.
