Idea projektu

The main idea of my project is to renovate old typical russian boulding names "Khrushchyovka" to the really greater modern house.

Popis projektu

The reconstructed building is located on Universitetskiy Lane within walking distance from the sights of Rostov-on-Don, DSPB, the main building of SFU, Musical Theater, Puppet Theater, DSTU building.
The 1-447 series building is made of brick, built in the 1970s.

During the renovation of the building, special attention was paid to improving the comfort of living, as a result of which the apartments were completely redeveloped, their area was increased, balconies were expanded, an elevator was added. In addition, the 6th floor was designed, which made it possible to create two-level apartments with large verandas.

Technické informace

It was a typical building from 1970s. As Wikipedia says: Khrushchyovka is an unofficial name for a type of low-cost, concrete-paneled or brick three- to five-storied apartment building which was developed in the Soviet Union during the early 1960s, during the time its namesake Nikita Khrushchev directed the Soviet government.They are sometimes compared to the Japanese danchi, similar (often government-sponsored) housing projects from the same period, which by some accounts were directly inspired by them. Preceding this type of housing, the majority of the Soviet housing stock was of low-rise communal apartments.
