Idea projektu

The main goal is to achieve balance between built and inbuilt areas in Beirut, to enable enough green and recreational spaces in order to support good health and quality life- to open the City to the Sea, so everyone can See the Sea.

Popis projektu

The concept of the project is a network of green corridors which continues routes and paths from the western part of Beirut and the existing landscaped promenade, next to the zone of New Beirut and the passenger terminal to the Port of Beirut, stretching through the port.

The goal is to activate the renamed land of the port and integrate it with the rest of the city. The new corridors extend through several zones that will mostly condition the names and give character to the corridor segments.
