Idea projektu

Understanding the ideas of farewell. This goal enabled an attempt to explore the psychology of the viewer of architecture in the process of his relationship with the context of memories. The essence of the project became the creation of a story - a story about the past, present and future. This interpretation allowed the space to evolve.

Popis projektu

The effect has been shaped by the relationship of essential conceptual cores that support each other in the expression of the architecture. The foundation is provided by the integration of light and symbolic factors, which penetrate into the sphere of the present. This in turn, supported by selected materials and strong natural accent in the form of garden part, evolve into the perspective of the future, metaphysically cut off from the reality of memories. The whole allows to reflect on the emotions and thoughts of the viewer and to reflect on the essence of life and passing. Everything in the architecture.
The essence of the project in the architectural dimension is the movement and the permeation of zones, also in the emotional layer. The visitor must pass through a ceremonial layout filled with subtle impressions that change according to the time of day or year. These spaces encourage reflection and reverie in all dimensions of time. It is important to walk in the dimension of not only constantly changing horizontal frames, but also the play of heights, which allows to read the space from different perspectives. The project focuses on pure materials interacting in the form of their surfaces. In respecting the local context, the project also focuses on respecting the concept of great space and green design. The context reaches back to soc- and post-modernist assumptions.

Technické informace

The niches provide space for the burial of 500 people. The maximum height of the highest niche is 1.5 m, which makes them easily accessible for visiting relatives. Their size of 60x60 cm allows space for placing flowers and candles. The outer form of textured reinforced concrete is filled with marble niches with the urn of the deceased. This contrast of materials highlights the essence of the important interior, which becomes more exposed.
