Idea projektu

Developing the complex of religions to promote and spread a culture of acceptance of the other to be a global destination for religious and cultural tourism and to promote world peace and confront extremism and racism on the Fustat slums and link the development to the Fustat Hills Garden that links the Complex of Religions, Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque, the Museum of Civilization and Ain Al-Sira Lake, within the development of the Fustat area affiliated to the Revival Project Historic Cairo and at the global level support the dissemination of a culture of acceptance of the other and building bridges of dialogue and coexistence between different religious communities and confronting hate speech that exploits the name of religion to incite violence locally and regionally

Popis projektu

The project consists of 5 buildings (a conference hall for dialogue and the development of diplomatic solutions, a central library to spread the culture of accepting the other and accepting different cultures, and 3 cultural centers for spreading and promoting peace between religions through theaters to display theatrical stories that call for peace, libraries, exhibitions and educational classes to promote the dissemination of a culture of acceptance of others

Technické informace

The building uses environmental treatments in the local architecture to achieve thermal comfort. The building was built with stones to exploit the materials available in the project environment. The ground level was also preserved in the design to maintain the environmental standard and respect the surrounding environment of the project.
