First year project. The task was to design the parasitic exhibition space in Leicester/UK. My idea was to create shadow exhibition, designing geometrical patterns based on the gothic windows of The Leicester Cathederal. Making at the same time modern, unusual 3D panels similar to Islamic Mashrabiya.
Shadow Exhibition,
Decoration and function combined, sun catching elevation which controls the access of sunlight entering totally dark spaces and penetraiting the entire building. Design to create magical atmosphere inside and outside the building, which changes depending on the time of the day and season you exhibit it. Move and layer pannels and watch the shadow
changing. Infinite unique "light patterns" around you, wherever you look. Step between light and shadow to become a part of story on the wall.
Movable panels.
