It can't be compared in size to Brno or Prague, but in size of lust for life, yes.
We approach the Polish border and visit the town of Krnov. This book tells the story of it. Bruntál hides a gem in the form of forests, meadows, culture and a piece of history. Unconsciously, the corner of my lips rises when I read on the Kofola can : "made in Krnov". As a Slovak, I have visited Krnov only once, but it immediately charmed me with its architecture, its centre, the Cvilín on which stands a church similar to ours in Banská Bystrica. We were told that the people here are active and culture is not idle.

After a tour of the city we decided to go to the Minoritů Square, a place in the centre, but somehow the Genius loci had been left in the dust. That's why we took the opportunity to design a place where all ages will enjoy spending time, whether it be playing sports, reading a book, shopping, or just sitting on a park bench. Our aim was to create a square with a park that is alive all year round, winter or summer. During the day or during the evening. Krnov is home to people who want to have fun, spend time in society and we want to create a full-fledged space for them to do that. We also want to expand the possibilities for tourists who visit the town. To spread the word about Krnov.

Nedá sa porovnať rozlohou Brnu alebo Prahe, ale veľkosťou chtíča po živote, to áno.
Blížime sa k poľským hraniciam a navštívime mesto Krnov. O ňom rozpráva príbeh táto kniha. Bruntál skrýva drahokam v podobe lesov, lúk, kultúry a kusu histórie. Nevedomky sa mi zdvihne kútik pier, keď na plechovke od Kofoly čítam : “vyrobené v Krnove”. Ako Slovenka som navštívila Krnov len raz, ale hneď mi učaroval svojou architektúrou , centrom , Cvilínom na ktorom sa vypína kostol podobný tomu našemu v Banskej Bystrici. Bolo nám povedané, že ľudia sú tu aktívni a kultúrou nezaháľajú.

Po prehliadke mesta sme sa rozhodli pre námestie Minoritů, miesto v centre, no aj napriek tomu tam akosi zapadol prachom Genius loci. Preto sme sa chopili príležitosti a snažili sme sa navrhúť miesto, kde budú radi tráviť čas všetky vekové kategórie či už športom, čítaním knihy, nákupom, alebo len tak sedením v parku na lavičke. Našim cieľom bolo vytvoriť námestie s parkom žijúce po celý rok, v zime alebo v lete. Cez deň alebo počas večera. Krnov je domovom ľudí, ktorí sa chcú baviť, tráviť čas v spoločnosti a my im na to chceme vytvoriť plnohodnotný priestor. Taktiež chceme rozšíriť možnosti pre turistov, ktorí mesto navštevujú. Aby sa chýry o Krnove šírili slovom ďalej.
