The building of the proposed Třebíč library is located in the Borovina district.
This district is relatively self-sufficient and independent from the rest of the city,
from which it is separated by a large park.
The library is located on the edge of Borovina in close proximity to the school and the housing estate.
It is cube-shaped in relation to the surrounding buildings.
The building has two floors, which differ greatly in their visual appearance and the materials used,
but the result is an interesting composition. Just by connecting these two so different parts,
such as the sturdy concrete first floor, which provides visitors with a reception area,
study, reading room, café, children's play area and sanitary facilities, and the elegant glass second floor,
planted with a row of bamboo to reduce heat transfer into the room and enhance the visual experience of the surrounding estate,
where we find books stored and a small gallery on the mezzanine.
At the centre of the whole library are the wide seating stairs.
The total built-up area is 462 m.

Budova navrhované třebíčské knihovny se nachází v městské části Borovina.
Tato čtvrť je poměrně soběstačná a v celku nezávislá část na zbytku města,
od nějž je oddělena rozsáhlým parkem.
Knihovna je usazena na okraji Boroviny do přímé blízkosti školy a sídliště.
Vzhledem k okolní zástavbě má tvar krychle.
Budova má dvě podlaží, které se svou vizualitou a použitým materiálem velice liší,
ale ve výsledku tvoří zajímavou kompozici. Už jen propojením těchto dvou tak odlišných částí,
jako je robustní betonové první podlaží, které poskytuje návštěvníkům zázemí s recepcí,
studovnou, čítárnou, kavárnou, dětským koutkem a sociálním zařízením a elegantní druhé, skleněné podlaží,
osázené řadou bambusů pro menší prostupnost tepla do místnosti a zpříjemnění vizuálního zážitku z okolního sídliště,
kde najdeme uložené knihy a v mezipatře malou galerii.
Centrem celé knihovny jsou široké posedové schody.
Celková zastavěná plocha je 462 m?.
