Idea projektu

From the chaos and noise of a city whose community groups and identities never stopped rejecting one another breaks arise in many forms. Beirut has always been a multi-faith space, a combination of culture, business, and leisure. We are facing a remarkable segregation a social and urban rupture rather than an intersection of social connections; in fact, it is a space of absolute deprivation.
Under the title of Beirut Crossroad of Cultural and Social Pluralism: from a diverse to a common identity, the problematic UNITY IN DIVERSITY takes place.

Popis projektu

Vibrant places were people drawn from different regions and religions live side by side, and where in a single neighborhood you can hear Church bells ringing as prayers blare from Mosques.
A well-defined course will be presented commencing from the alleys of the opposite side of the city, an idea of CONNECTION I DISCONNECTION I RECONNECTION within Fouad Chehab Ring a creator of social connections: thoroughfare and multifunctional intersection.
the project is designed and organized on the basis of three cultural pillars, social and historical surfaces lead to the common identity which is embedded in the collective memory located in the Beirut Grand Theatre: an iconic section within the project.
The complete project resembles a small city...Unique, it will have its place alongside the landmarks and monuments of past centuries on the visitor’s map of Beirut.
The project is a reintegration of urban life where humans are caught in an overwhelming space.
Lines are the essential and main demarcated movement paths across the parks guiding to various points of interest, within the surrounding urban area, such as the Literally Cafe, Beirut Mediatheque, and the Intercommunal Library.
Large surfaces are dedicated to a green space providing citizens with various areas to interact, play, relax, and gather in workshops.
A Multidirectional Path surrounded by a Center for research and Civic Education, Conference rooms and Exhibition Galleries, as well as training locations for Historians. Creating Vibrant, welcoming spaces that are memorable, pleasurable, and visually exciting that please the citizens but also become an added value to their surroundings.
