Teacher-Student Center is the center-piece of any university campus that renders the students and teachers with a common platform to perform their extra & co-curricular activities.The main objective of this project was to create a platform for social interactions & cultural upbringing.The project is a part of SUST campus.The goal is to enable to connect with the broader social context & promote activities beyond rigid academic frameworks.

The site is located in SUST campus,Sylhet.SUST is home of several cultural,voluntary & sports organizations that actively arrange programs on the premises on local & national occasions.This multi dimentional outer academic ambient sought after a properly designed gathering place to suave the activities to be done amongst the faculty members & the students.To accomplish my goal a "walk way" has been created that runs through the hole complex connecting all the functional buildings.The walk way is not just a path but also a journey in order to provide opportunity to experience various activities & actions across the entire complex.The clam & soothing natural serenity of the site summons a walking based viewing experience.Besides a harmonious interaction between a multi dimentional
scholastic & extra curricular activities required to harness the best a university can render.Thus the concept is "a traipse to concord".

Technické informace

The project's site is surrounded by many natural elements.In the east & west side a range of green hillock surrounds the site.A canal runs through the site.To enjoy the whole view of the site a central space is created.An amphitheater is created at the main entrance that can act as a center for cultural activities & gatherings.The whole complex is visible through the plaza.The walk way is connects all the buildings of the complex.The complex consists of adminstrative,teacher's building,students club.art zone, cafeteria & auditorium.Natural ventilation is ensured to the full extents.The structure is a complex structure.Frames were created to ensure semi outdoor space.The climate of Sylhet has significant rainfall most of the months.This climate is taken to consideration.The main material was concrete & wood.
